About the project
The Inclusive Markets, Production, Agricultural Commercialisation and Transformation (IMPACT) project builds on the successes of the Commercial Agriculture and Resilient Livelihoods Enhancement Programme (CARLEP) and seeks to scale up its best practices and ensure their sustainability. The goal of IMPACT is to reduce poverty and improve resilience of smallholder households, and its development objective is to transition smallholder farming towards climate-resilient food systems that are inclusive and profitable. The project duration is six years, and it will retain CARLEP's effective implementation structure under the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MoAL) as the lead implementation agency.
