The Gross National Happiness Commission as a National Designated Authority to Green Climate Fund conducted sensitization workshop to the Private Sectors in Paro. The event was attended by 25 participants from organizations such as Financial Institutions, Private Sectors, Tour Operators and GNHC.
The GCF–Private Sector workshop sensitizes the fraternity of GCF Stakeholders namely the National Implementing Entity (NIE), Banks, CSOs, NGOs and CBOs. It brings forth the dialogue and conversations that prioritize climate change action in the country and globally, at large.
The event was held from 17 to 18 June, 2021 at the Zhideychen Resort, in Paro, Bhutan. It was organized with the objective of sensitizing the GCF stakeholders, CSOs, and private sector representatives on the GCF and its mechanism.
